Four sensors check the syringe for proper attachment to the unit. Accidents due to incorrect attachment are thus prevented.
The pressure inside the infusion line is always monitored and displayed as a trend graph. The occlusion pressure level for alarm activation can be selected in the adequate level.
A numeric key pad is used to input the flow rate accurately and speedily.
A lithium-ion battery, which has no memory effect, is used in the unit. The battery capacity will not decrease even after repeated charging.
Operational errors are prevented by the messages urging the user to check for correct operation at the beginning of infusion or in priming.
